De CD “CINTA” is feestelijk gepresenteerd in het Bintang Theater op het Tong Tong Festival 2011 in Den Haag.
Vooraf is het Duo live te horen geweest op Radio 1 en Radio 5 en is de CD gedraaid in Hotel Central op Radio 6.
Tijdens de CD-presentatie op 26 mei 2011 ontvangt George Dankmeyer het eerste exemplaar.
De CD “CINTA” (Indonesisch voor ‘Liefde‘) is een bijzondere mix van oost en west, van Aziatische en westerse toonladders & ritmen: het product van twee eigenzinnige musici.
Patrick speelt de baspartij en tegelijkertijd de harmonie vanuit accoorden, op contrabas en electrische basgitaar. Daarboven komt de zang, waarbij Anna kleine percussie toevoegt plus een pentatonische gambang. Alles heeft een dubbele functie.

The CD “CINTA” is released in the Bintang Theatre at the Tong Tong Festival 2011, The Hague.
Before the release the Duo played live on the national Radio 1 en Radio 5 and got airtime in Hotel Central on Radio 6.
At the releaseof the CD, on the 26th of may 2011, George Dankmeyer received the first copy.
CD “CINTA” (“Love” in Indonesia) is a special mix of east and west, of Asian and western scales & rhythms: the product of two quirky musicians.
Patrick plays the basspart as well as the harmonic part, on acoustic and electric bass. The voice floats above this, where Anna adds little subtile percussion instruments, also pentatonic gambangs. Everything in double function.

Tijdens het Tong Tong Festival 2011 presenteren jazz-zangeres Anna Montan en contrabassist Patrick Lauwerends hun nieuwe cd Cinta. Het is een even gewaagde als geslaagde crossover van jazz en krontjong. De afgelopen twee jaar liet het duo al een voorproefje horen in het Bintang-Theater. Musicus en muziekschrijver George Dankmeyer noemde hun duo-stijl “gedurfd, zeer origineel en virtuoos”. Cinta is een bijzondere mix van krontjong en jazz, product van twee eigenzinnige musici.

[:nl]De documentaire “Tuan Papa” schenkt aandacht aan de kinderen die geboren zijn in het voormalig Ned.Indië in de jaren 1947-1949. Nu allen volwassen met een Indonesische moeder en een onbekende Hollandse (soldaten-)vader, in de docu genoemd ‘oorlogsliefdekinderen’.
Op 1 juli 2010 is de docu uitgezonden bij de NPS in een Andere Tijden Special.

Then children, now adults, searching for their unknown Dutch fathers who fought in the homeland of their Indonesian mothers. The docu calles them ‘war-love-childs’. (‘oorlogs-liefde-kinderen’)
The 1st of july 2010 the docu was broadcasted on television by the NPS in a “Andere Tijden Special”.
