Since 11 years they play their jazz & blues repertoire as a duo in this daring combination of bass and voice. Besides this, they developed a keroncong-jazz repertoire.<\/p>\n

Jazz & Blues
\n<\/strong>Anna en Patrick met in 2004 while Anna was searching for a new bassplayer in her jazz 5-tet. She attended a performance of Patrick and she heard what she had been looking for.
\nMore and more thay began to create a repertoire for the combination of bass, voice and percussion.<\/p>\n

They both have a double function on stage<\/strong>:
\nAnna takes a modest role as drummer while\"Montan-&-Lauwerends-web\" singing, Patrick also plays the harmony on his two basses. All together it sounds like there are really more than two people on stage. Podiums small or large, they are rather present.
\n“No borders, just horizons.”<\/p>\n

“My long-cherished desire was to combine the acoustic bass with my singing. Patrick didn’t hesitate one second and here we are.”
